THE RAIL KITCHEN CHIKUGO will run an unusual special train on the evening of June 26!
You can taste freshly baked, authentic Roman pizza from THE RAIL KITCHEN CHIKUGO’s pizza oven!
This special course will feature “Pizza with Summer Vegetables and Porchetta” supervised by Pizza ar taio and baked in the train’s oven, as well as two appetizers and hot fish and chips. By operating the train during a different dinner time from the normal operating hours, passengers will be able to enjoy the expressive scenery along the line as it changes from before sunset to after sunset along with the food.

Pizza ar taio is a takeout cutout pizza specialty restaurant popular for its authentic square pizzas. Chef Keigo Shimaoka, who trained at a famous restaurant in Rome, opened the restaurant in 2009 in Fukuoka City. He also opened a store on the second basement floor of ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. (hereinafter referred to as “One Building”), which opened in April this year, and this led to this collaboration.
